International students showed their talents at the  alumni concert of Kunming Medical University

5月26日下午，昆明醫科大學舉辦建校九十周年系列活動——“一朝昆醫人 一世昆醫情”畢業季校友演唱會。演唱會上，今年即將畢業的MBBS留學生叔達思（SOUMIK DAS）身著蒙古國服飾，演唱了騰格爾的歌曲《天堂》，兩名留學生身著蒙古國服裝翩翩起舞。憑借著動聽的歌聲和優美的舞蹈，一時之間現場歡呼，氣氛熱烈，表演結束時，叔達思大聲喊出“我愛中國，我愛KMU”將現場氣氛推向高潮。

On the afternoon of May 26th, Kunming Medical University held the alumni concert, one of a series of activities for the 90th anniversary of its founding. At the concert, a MBBS student (SOUMIK DAS), who is graduating this year, sang Tenger's song "Paradise" in Mongolian costumes, at the same time two international students danced in Mongolian costumes. With beautiful voice and dance, audience cheered loudly. At the end of the performance, the concert was climaxed by Soumik’s shouting "I love China, I love KMU".

叔達思同學在校期間學習成績優秀，擔任班長，熱愛中國文化。2017年該生憑借《天堂》奪得昆醫“校園好聲音”冠軍，同年經過層層篩選參加中央電視臺組織的“漢語橋2017全球外國人漢語大會”個人賽決賽獲得全球百強獎，2019年該生和其他留學生共同組成的“BAD WOLVES”樂隊再次奪得昆醫“校園好聲音”冠軍。

Soumik has an excellent academic performance in university. He is the monitor of his batch. He loves Chinese culture. In 2017, he won the champion in the singing competition of "Voice of KMU", after that he joined the election and successfully performed in CCTV "Chinese bridge" 2017 global foreigners Chinese conference, in which he got the global top 100 award. In 2019, Soumik started a band "BAD WOLVES" with other international students, and once again they won the champion of "Voice of KMU" again.

留學生們在畢業季校友演唱會的精彩表演給在場的中外師生留下了深刻的印象，展現了我校留學生知華、友華、愛華的情懷。同時也讓在場的其他留學生通過歌曲和舞蹈加深了對中國文化的了解，他們表示，也希望像自己的師兄師姐一樣成為中外文化交流的使者，能夠代表國際教育學院、代表學校走向舞臺展示自己在中國學習的成果。

International students’wonderful performance in the alumni concert left a deep impression both on the Chinese and the international, showing their knowledge, love and friendship to China. At the same time, the performance deepened international students understanding of Chinese culture through songs and dances. They also said that they would hope to become ambassadors of cultural exchanges between China and their countries like their seniors, and show the achievements of their study in China on the stage on behalf of the International Education School and Kunming Medical University.
